Abide Devotional

Key Verse:"If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing." - John 15:5

Reflection:

The word "dwell" invites us to pause, remain, and fully immerse ourselves in the presence of God. In the busyness of life, it’s easy to rush through our days without stopping to reflect on God’s goodness. But abiding in Him transforms our hearts and aligns us with His purposes.

The Dwell Journal is more than just a tool; it’s a space to connect deeply with God, to write out prayers, reflect on Scripture, and record the ways He’s moving in your life. Every page is an opportunity to rest in His presence and root yourself in His Word.

When we dwell with the Lord, we bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, and hope—not by striving, but by staying close to Him. Let this be your reminder to slow down, dwell in His presence, and let His Spirit refresh your soul.

Practical Application:

  • Spend 5-10 minutes today journaling. Start with one thought: “Lord, what do You want to teach me today?”
  • Choose a verse from your reading and reflect on it. Write it down and personalize it as a prayer.
  • End your journaling time by listing three things you’re grateful for, big or small, and thank God for them.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to dwell in You and abide in Your presence. Help me to stay connected to You in every moment of my day. Let my time with You produce fruit that glorifies Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
